NALEO 30th Annual Conference brings Nation’s Latino Policymakers to Chicago
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., July 10, 2013 – A sprinkle of Disney pixie dust traveled through the Chicago air as Latino leaders gathered for the NALEO 30th Annual Conference. Disney was at the forefront of the conference, which is the nation’s largest Latino political convention. It also marks the largest gathering of Latino policymakers.
As a member of the NALEO Corporate Partnership Councils, Disney is proud to join NALEO in its mission to integrate Latino families into American political society. Disney, through a proud, decade-long sponsorship, recognizes the significance of the growing role of Latinos in all aspects of our society. The NALEO conference gives Disney insight into the concerns of the Hispanic population. More than 1,000 elected and appointed Latino officials from around the country attend the event, shedding light on a variety of issues impacting all communities, ranging from immigration reform to education, healthcare, and more. The NALEO conference progressed greatly since the first conference, and is now the premier forum for Latino official and constituent engagement. Disney proudly engages with diverse communities and is proud of the constant growth. We feel it is important to develop relationships with leaders and the people they serve. At Disney, diversity is always a part of our big picture.
